Trailwaggers Raises Funds for the Needy Paws of Berks County

Trailwaggers is again helping the animals of Berks County, including the Humane Society of Berks County, Animal Rescue League of Berks County and One By One Cat Rescue, Kutztown.  Trailwaggers 2008 raised $1800 for the needy paws of Berks County!  On Friday, March 13, 2009, each organization was presented with a $600 check.

Trailwaggers is a non-profit group working under the Promotion Team of Kutztown Community Partnership and sponsored by The Bark on Main, Citizen's Bank and Colasanti Printworks. The goal of Trailwaggers is to raise funds for the needy paws of Berks County through yearly events. Trailwaggers 2008 events included:  an on-line auction; Plein Air Pup held June 7 at Kutztown Park; Trailwagger's Dogwalk - held in Kutztown Park on October 19, 2008; and Pet Photos with Santa on December 7, 2008 at The Bark on Main .  Thank you to everyone who helped make 2008 Trailwaggers a success!

Checks were presented to each organization by Kutztown Mayor Sandy Green representing the Borough of Kutztown; Amy Bray from Kutztown Community Partnership; and Kim Davis owner of The Bark on Main.
