The Kutztown University Small Business Development Center employs a full-time staff of professionals. Our Business Consultants have impressive credentials from a variety of universities around the country, but they also have practical experience with every stage of business...from pre-venture to multi-billion dollar companies. They bring a wealth of knowledge to our center in diverse industries. Our Consultants deliver a complete Business Assistance Program with specialty areas such as Government Procurement and International Trade.

Many Business Consultants have personal entrepreneurial experience...but, all of our Consultants have the resources of the University, the nationwide network of SBDCs and the local communities they serve.

Our staff of professionals will help you meet your goals and objectives. Businesses started with the help of the SBDC survive longer than other businesses, and they grow at a faster rate - a 26% annual compound growth rate - five times the rate of the average firm. An impressive 73% of businesses started in 1992 with the help of the SBDC were still in business five years later - defying the myth that most businesses fail in their first five years.
